New York, May 17 (IANS) Actor Will Smith, who has starred in hits like “Independence Day” and “I am Legend”, has decided to start his own school because he feels there isn’t anything good enough outside for his kids. Smith and his wife Jada, who has acted in films like the “Matrix” trilogy and “Collateral”, have been home schooling their kids. But Smith has now spent about $1 million to lease a campus near his California home, perezhilton.com reports.
The campus has been named the New Village Academy of Calabasas. The school will be run privately for kids up to sixth grade. Smith’s son Jaden had co-starred with him in “The Pursuit of Happyness”.
You can visit the school’s official website by clicking here.

Wow, that’s pretty awesome… thanks for the news.

Well done Will.
Guess it is only good to give back to the community even through your own children.
Thanks for doing what most of us desire to do but cant do. Can i be a volunteer at your school?
