Here are the new Hancock movie stills starring a very futuristic-looking Will Smith.

In the film, Will portrays an alcoholic superhero despised by everyone. A publicist (Jason Bateman) helps rehabilitate him, and the superhero eventually begins an affair with the publicist’s wife (Charlize Theron).

Hancock rolls out in theaters on July 2 and was directed by actor/writer/director Peter Berg.

WILL SMITH has hit out at actors who refuse to promote their movies around the world, insisting it’s the only way to become a global superstar.

The I Am Legend star is amazed that only a handful of Hollywood celebrities bother to visit South America, Europe and the Far East to promote films because those that choose not to are missing huge opportunities to become international stars.

He says, “I’ve had conversations bordering on arguments with a lot of actors (about this).
“I ask, ‘How many premieres of your movie have you been to?’ And they say, ‘Oh, one in L.A., one in New York.’ Well, what about London? What about Berlin? Tokyo? Seoul? You have to go.’ “It’s the only way that somebody gets to be a movie star in the way that you look at Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise and myself.”

Hollywood superstar Charlize Theron says she love working with Will Smith – and even gets star struck when she’s in his presence.

She said: “I would make a film about a tape recorder with Will Smith! I love working with him, he’s an incredible actor.”

Eva Mendes has poked fun at Will Smith’s action hero status by revealing that he can’t handle his booze.

Mendes, who starred alongside the Hollywood superstar in ‘Hitch’, was left amused by how quickly lightweight Smith got drunk.

She says: “Will literally takes three sips and he’s buzzed. It’s not even like three sips of whiskey; it’s literally a pina colada or a daquiri – he loves girly drinks – and he’s down.”

“I Am Legend” hit $262.5 million at the foreign box office, after a $29 million weekend in 56 countries, according to final data issued Monday.

The Will Smith sci-fi smash led the field for a fifth weekend, followed by “Alien vs. Predator: Requiem” ($11.2 million), “Alvin and the Chipmunks” ($10 million), “American Gangster” ($9.1 million), and “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” ($8.8 million).

Will Smith fell so in love with his canine co-star on new movie ‘I Am Legend’, he tried to buy her.

Smith bonded with German Shepherd Abbey, and couldn’t bear to be parted from her when the film wrapped.

But owner/trainer Steve Berens, who rescued Abbey from run-down kennel, had no intention of letting her go, even after Smith offered to buy him a new house.

Will Smith is saddened by the two-month-old strike by Hollywood writers but says that it was needed to create discussion within the industry.

Both writers and the studios they work for say the dispute is focused on compensation for programs and movies that are streamed or downloaded over the Internet. The strike reduced Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards to a no-frills, one-hour presentation from the normally glamorous affair.

“The (strike) has to happen so we can discuss all of this,” said Smith, in Brazil this week to promote his latest blockbuster, “I Am Legend.”

With a little help from Big Daddy Will Smith, Jaden Smith made one hell of an Hollywood entrance with ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’. Not only was the film a worldwide success, but it put Jaden above the rest when it comes to casting young actors in major films.

With that being said, and I’m sure after carefully looking over future projects, Jaden, through the help of his parents (Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith), has pick his next film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jaden Smith has landed a part in Fox’s sci-fi thriller “The Day the Earth Stood Still.”

Will Smith says nothing is set in stone yet, but he has been contacted by director Steven Spielberg to star in his upcoming film “Chicago 7,” which will chronicle the 1969-70 trial of seven radicals accused of conspiring to riot at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

According to he Brazillian Web site Omelete, Will Smith has confirmed his association with the project and said that Spielberg asked him to leave some free space in his schedule for the shoot.
